Collared Dove: Bertie

And another little Dove has joined our ranks! This little one came in a few weeks ago after being found with no mum around to keep an eye

on him. He was looking a little bedraggled and his tail feathers had not come through yet so there was no way he would be able to fly just yet.

Bertie's baby fluff has now all gone, and he is looking much better than he was when he first came in - nearly ready to take on the wild!

Bertie was released on site from one of our outside aviaries with a few of our other Collared Doves who were of the same age. They have stayed together since we have released them and haven't strayed too far from the safety of the runs.
