Rabbit: Clover

We had a beautiful young bunny - Clover - come in last night. She was in a terrible state after being caught by some cats. Thankfully, the

amazing lady who saw her managed to get her away from the cats very quickly. She had 2 small punctures under her front legs and lots of scratches across her back and face. She had also gone into shock.

She was immediately put onto a heat pad, given fluids and had her wounds cleaned. We did this all as quickly as possible so she could be left quietly to heat up and recover.

When an animal goes into shock, it can be incredibly hard to pull them back from this, especially when they are in an unfamiliar place with unfamiliar smells and humans too!

Unfortunately, after making it through the night, she lost her battle today :(

We tried our best, but it wasn't enough.

We wanted to say a massive thank you to the lovely lady who found her and acted quickly to rescue her and bring her to us. Well done! xx
