Hedgehog: Melrose

Melrose is our latest addition to an ever growing number of hedgehogs we have this time of year. These little ones are generally in pretty

good health but will be unlikely to survive through hibernation as they are just too small and do not have the fat reserves to last. Melrose will remain with us until the spring and then be released in a well established hedgehog friendly area.

Melrose was successfully released back to the garden that she came from - with another friend! The lovely people that live there are leaving food out for them every evening to make sure they continue to thrive.
