I am very happy to be part of the Harper Asprey team and to support the wonderful

work they do in helping and caring for the local wildlife. I first heard about Harper Asprey earlier this year through one of the many social media posts highlighting the great work the rescue does in treating and rehabilitating injured animals and when I heard they were in need of volunteers, I jumped at the chance to get involved.

I am a lawyer by profession, having worked until recently as a personal injury litigator and now in a regulatory compliance role. Volunteering at the rescue makes a nice change of pace from my day-to-day role and provides me with the opportunity to do my small bit to help our wildlife.

When not working or volunteering, I can usually be found with my nose in a book, enjoying adventures with my husband or chasing our crazy, diva cat around the woods near our home (it's generally agreed that she's not a cat at all but is in fact an odd mix  between a stroppy toddler and a dog)!

I excel at - just getting on with things and being pretty unflappable.

I don’t excel at - being patient (although I like to think I'm getting better at this).
