Slow Worm: Jesse

Wildlife seems to be making their own way to us now! This baby Slow Worm - now named Jesse - came in today after being found by one of

the lovely gardeners on our site! He has quite a few cuts and scars along his body; we have no idea what he has got up too at such a young age. He is now safe in one of our vivariums filled with lots of yummy insects for him to eat. We rarely see these elusive reptiles brought into us, so we are fascinated by him!

OUTCOME:

Jesse did not like being in captivity one little bit, it took a while for him to actually start eating the lovely bugs we had provided for him. After a short time with us, Jesse was released back to the area on site that he was found.
