Fox Cub: Well Almost!

We had call from a couple who had just found a fox cub in the middle of a busy road in Aldershot.  We waited for the cub to arrive and this

cute little girl was delivered. Very cute, very small but not a fox cub.

The lovely rescuers brought her to us and were very surprised to find out she wasn’t a fox cub. She was a very foxy looking and very cute 14 old Pomeranian puppy. She was very healthy and very playful and none the worse for her adventures, quickly settling down.

We made her a temporary bed in Anne's office and she immediately went over moved it and had a short nap.  We micro chip our wildlife and all of us have dogs and cats and are very aware of  the importance of chipping.  Fortunately the little puppy was micro-chipped and after a quick scan at the rescue we were able to contact her very worried and extremely stressed  Mummy.

It was lovely having a cuddly guest in the rescue for a few hours. We never normally allow dogs to visit the rescue as it's not a smell wildlife should ever get used. The little pup was very well behaved. Mum battled through the rush hour from Aldershot where she went missing two hours earlier. It was  fantastic  to reunite her with her loving family.
