Crow: Dave & Robbie

Two Crows were brought into us over the last week. Dave was found by the side of a busy road, very weak and lethargic. The lovely guys that

found him popped him into a box and brought him over straight away. He had some wounds on his leg which was preventing him from walking properly. We immediately administered some antibiotics and pain relief.

Robbie was found wandering around in someones garden just sitting on the floor, unable to fly. He is quite young and we think he has been hand reared and released - badly - as he is still very tame which is unusual for Crows.

Dave's wounds have now healed completely and he is walking normally again! As soon as we felt he was ready, we introduced Robbie so he would have some company. We are hoping Dave will teach Robbie how to be a wild bird again so they can be released together.

OUTCOME:

Davie & Robbie have now gone into a pre-release run with some other Crows in preparation for their final release. The doors will be opened soon and they will be back in the wild!
