We are committed to encouraging through knowledge the integration of wildlife into our countryside’s and gardens along side us in a natural balance

Jodie the Jay was bought into us by a kind lady who found her in the woods.

She is a fledgling with no flight feathers. She's very noisy and very hungry. She will stay with us until she is able to fly and look after herself and will then be returned to the wild where she belongs.

Jodie was released twice. She was returned to the family that found her but within a few days was bought back to us by a person who had discovered her covered in paint. We removed the paint and handed her over to Maggie and Chris to do their stuff.

Jodie returns to the wild where she came from but still regularly turns up for some special TLC . Some hand fed meal worms from bird expert Maggie seems to do the trick.
